Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Truck Driver to join our team at Roadship Freight Systems. As a Heavy Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy trucks, including flatbeds and tractor-trailers, to transport goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring accurate and secure transportation.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and other drivers to coordinate routes and schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of hours worked, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • AZ class license and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Valid passport and driving record check (abstract).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
