About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at Peter's Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring the highest quality and presentation.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook sushi and other Japanese dishes to order
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective service
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen, preferably in a sushi restaurant
  • Permanent full-time position, 35-40 hours per week
  • Fluency in English, with ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers
