Key Responsibilities:
  • Accompany clients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being.
  • Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, and setting up medical equipment to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Perform various tasks related to patient care, including taking vital signs, serving meal trays, and making beds.
  • Deliver messages, reports, and specimens between departments to ensure seamless communication.
  • Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations, and enemas as needed, while maintaining a focus on patient comfort and safety.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Bathe, dress, and groom clients to promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Transport clients between care facilities, using own transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Answer call signals to determine clients' needs and respond accordingly.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations, using your initiative and judgment to ensure the best possible outcome.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements:
  • Criminal record check and valid driver's license required.
  • Previous experience in the field of employment is an asset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Handling heavy loads up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, reliability, and patience.
