An Emergency Care Specialist provides advanced medical care to critically ill patients during transportation. Using specialized equipment and techniques, they help stabilize patients en route to medical facilities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and interventions for critically ill patients.
  • Administer necessary medications and therapies.
  • Maintain complex medical equipment.
  • Collaborate with hospitals for critical care transfer protocols.
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.

Requirements:
  • Advanced training in emergency medicine with specialization in critical care.
  • State certification/licensure as an emergency medical technician.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Estimated Annual Salary:$85,000 - $115,000 based on experience and location.
