Job Summary

Groupe Fabmec is seeking a skilled Millwright Specialist to join our team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain machinery and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts
  • Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
  • Installing machinery and equipment
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
Requirements
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification
  • Hoisting and Rigging Training
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Oxy-acetylene welding (OAW) and Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) skills
  • Experience with conveyor, gas and air dryers, gas compressors, hydraulic system, industrial and stationary engine, monorails, power transmission system, pumps and compressors, welding equipment, and hand tools
