About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at Polytainers. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the success of our organization by driving process capability and reliability on the molding shop floor.

Job Summary:

  • Involvement in the design, testing, and implementation of new equipment and processes
  • Development of procedures and job breakdown sheets to improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity
  • Ownership of plant layout and identification of opportunities to eliminate waste
  • Analysis of operational objectives and recommendation of corrective actions to improve performance
  • Representation of the molding department in interactions with engineering and other stakeholders
  • Leadership in improvement projects and implementation of technical processes on the shop floor
  • Training and development of team members on cGMPs, food safety, and quality procedures
  • Identification and mitigation of hazards and promotion of health and safety policies
  • Project management of molding-related initiatives, including cost estimation, time planning, and resource allocation

Key Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree or diploma in industrial or manufacturing engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years of technical experience in a fast-paced, high-volume lean manufacturing environment
  • Experience in injection molded/thermoformed plastics and/or food packaging industry preferred
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation Package:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $90,000-$120,000 depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
