Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Agency Sales Director to join our New Logo Agency sales team focusing on PR & IR agency sales. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling into net new agency accounts and/or selling into an existing agency book of business. They will be responsible for penetrating new agency accounts, building key strategic relationships, and generating revenue through agency partnerships.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Pipeline Management: Build and manage a pipeline of self-generated agency opportunities with a focus on prioritizing qualified sales opportunities and key prospects within assigned territory.
  2. Sales Strategy: Execute a ruthless approach to time management and methodical approach to sales process and opportunity qualification to penetrate the most promising agency accounts, generating net new revenue and relationships.
  3. Relationship Building: Identify and build multi-threaded relationships across the agency organization, establishing reputation with assigned agencies as a trusted advisor with industry knowledge and the prospects' solution needs.
  4. Account Development: Proactively identify potential needs of agencies, recommending best-fit solutions with a clear value proposition for the account.
  5. Knowledge Development: Develop and maintain up-to-date expert understanding of Notified solutions and general understanding of relevant competitor solutions.
  6. Trend Identification: Research and actively identify emerging trends that influence Notified value proposition.
  7. Activation Strategy: Build out and execute an agency activation strategy to grow newly acquired agency business.
  8. Pipeline Management: Proactively manage pipeline; input, monitor, and update opportunities in a timely fashion.
  9. Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales Engineering resources, as needed, to close the deal.
  10. Efficiency Improvement: Identify and coordinate timely involvement of sales operations resources in the sales cycle to improve efficiencies.
  11. Performance Metrics: Achieve assigned bookings quota.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business, information technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 - 7 years of sales experience specifically selling into net new agency accounts and/or selling into an existing agency book of business.
  • Industry Experience: Must have 5+ years of PR/IR industry experience.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of achieving quota and achieving activity targets (KPI).
  • Cold-Calling Skills: Strong cold-calling, networking, prospecting, and ability to close new deals.
  • Time-Management Skills: Self-starter with excellent time-management skills.
  • Relationship Management: Superior relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills; including experience delivering compelling presentations to large audiences.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel within assigned territory, up to 2 weeks a month.
