We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Ginger Indian Cuisine Inc.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, including food preparation, menu planning, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Development: Create new and exciting menu items that showcase our unique Indian cuisine
- Chef Supervision: Lead and motivate a team of chefs to ensure high-quality dishes are prepared efficiently
- Sourcing and Inventory Management: Source fresh ingredients and manage inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize costs
- Kitchen Operations: Ensure a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Skills: Excellent culinary skills, strong leadership abilities, and effective communication skills
- Competitive Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
