Restaurant Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Rangeela Modern Indian Kitchen & Bar. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of employee hours, sales, and other key performance indicators.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Accessibility: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Cross-Cultural Training: Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Youth Support: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Veterans Support: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
- Indigenous Support: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Mature Workers Support: Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
- Visible Minorities Support: Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
