Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for assisting with the commissioning process for mission-critical facilities, primarily data centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in commissioning activities, ensuring that mechanical systems are tested and function as required.
  • Document and report on the commissioning processes, including system performance and any issues encountered.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues during the commissioning process alongside engineers and technical staff.
  • Participate in functional testing of critical systems, such as HVAC and control systems, to ensure they meet project specifications.
  • Ensure all commissioning processes comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
  • Help calibrate and validate equipment to meet project requirements.
  • Occasionally communicate with clients to provide updates on progress and address any concerns.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in commissioning, facilities management, or similar roles in mission-critical environments (e.g., data centers, telecommunications).
  • Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Salary and Benefits
  • Estimated hourly salary range: $25-$40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Paid holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
  • Unlimited unpaid time off, with additional paid leave to be confirmed.
About the Job

This role requires extensive travel to various project sites across the United States. Candidates should be prepared for frequent trips, with a minimum commitment of 2-3 weeks on-site for each project phase. Travel expenses, including lodging, airfare, and per diem, will be fully covered by the employer.
