About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Ice and Spice Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct performance reviews of staff members to ensure they are meeting their job requirements and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure the best possible prices and quality.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities to increase revenue and build relationships.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure that customers have a positive experience at our restaurant.
  • Manage events and functions, including weddings, corporate events, and other special occasions.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that the restaurant is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Supervise staff in various areas of responsibility, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and management.
  • Ensure that all staff members are trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service and meet the needs of our customers.

Requirements

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of communication.
  • 40 hours per week.
