Pharmacy Technician Professional

Job Summary
As a Regulated Pharmacy Technician at Safeway, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient-centered care and exceeding patients' expectations. We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable individual to conduct the authorized duties of the technician as imposed by individual Provincial Pharmacy Regulatory Bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, process, and compound prescriptions, including receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions from practitioners and ensuring prescriptions are complete and authentic.
- Provide injections/vaccinations as applicable by regulations in certain jurisdictions and transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies.
- Ensure the accuracy of prepared prescriptions and conduct the final check of prepared prescriptions.
- Confirm the accuracy of drug and personal health information in patient records.
Requirements
- Completion of the Pharmacy Technician Certification and excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
