About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker I to join our team at PHSA. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with complex mental health and substance use challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans to address the unique needs of our clients.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to promote emotional well-being and resilience.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based treatments to ensure the highest quality care for our clients.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum one year of recent experience working in a healthcare setting with individuals with complex mental health and substance use challenges.
  • Current full registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers.
