Job Description

The Bartender is a key member of the CMH Heli-Skiing & Summer Adventures team, responsible for providing exceptional service to guests at the lodge. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, wine, and beer, to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage the inventory of beverages and supplies, including ordering and restocking as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Lodge Chef to create wine pairings and other special events.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests have a positive experience at the lodge.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
Requirements

Requirements:

  • Valid Serving It Right Certificate.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of wines, beers, and liquors.
  • Minimum of 3 years of bartending experience.
  • Experience with ordering and inventory management.
  • Background in luxury hospitality or fine dining, preferred.
Working Conditions

Working Conditions:

  • This job is in a remote area of British Columbia. Employees are required to find their own way to and from the lodge or helicopter staging area for work shifts.
  • Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Manual dexterity to operate job-specific equipment on a constant basis.
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the business.
