We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Portfolio Specialist to join our team at Canaccord Genuity Corp. This is a unique opportunity to work with high net worth clients and be part of a dynamic and award-winning wealth management team.

Competitive Compensation Package

The successful candidate can expect a competitive total compensation package ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience and credentials. This includes base salary and monthly discretionary performance-based bonuses.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with our investment committee to oversee proprietary model portfolios, monitor security prices, and execute trades. You will also be expected to source new investment ideas, present them to the committee, and provide market insights to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain proprietary model portfolios daily, ensuring they remain aligned with client goals and risk tolerance.
  • Source and evaluate new investment opportunities, including equity, fixed income, real estate, private assets, and alternative investments.
  • Present investment recommendations to the investment committee and clients, providing clear and concise analysis and rationale.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, communicating regularly through email, phone calls, and video conferences.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Fully fluent in English, with proficiency in other languages a plus.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on wealth management, business development, or corporate finance.
  • Strong understanding of technical analysis techniques, charting, and pattern recognition.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and communicate findings effectively.
  • Portfolio Manager designation required, with CFA and/or CFP a plus.
  • Experience with Investment Banking an asset.
