Job Description

We are seeking an experienced researcher to join our Vancouver team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge autonomous driving technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI, machine learning, and computer vision, with a proven track record of research in areas such as foundation models, reinforcement learning, and large language models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement novel machine learning algorithms for autonomous driving
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into scalable, production-level solutions
  • Contribute to the development of autonomous driving systems, including perception, prediction, planning, and control
  • Work with large, rich, and diverse sources of real-world driving data
  • Architect models to employ the latest advances in foundation models, transformers, and world models

Requirements

  • PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, numpy, and pandas
  • Experience bringing a machine learning research concept through the full ML development cycle
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
