Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiological Technologist to join our team at Ridge Meadows Hospital in Maple Ridge, B.C. As a Radiological Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art medical imaging department, utilizing the latest technology and equipment to provide accurate and timely diagnoses. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in accordance with established standards and protocols
• Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray machines
• Prepare patients for examination, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
• Enter relevant data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) and process radiographs and images
• Monitor patient care and safety, ensuring that procedures adhere to department standards and policies
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and provide feedback to improve patient care and departmental processes

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
• Demonstrated knowledge and practice of safe work procedures with diagnostic radiographic and medical imaging equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

• A competitive salary range of $36.69 - $45.81 per hour, based on experience
