Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at SUBWAY SANDWICHES AND SALADS. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and package take-out food for customers
  • Portion and wrap food items to meet customer specifications
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet quality standards
  • Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit for food preparation
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required
  • Experience is an asset, but not necessary
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
