About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Geological Technician to join our team at Waterline Resources Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting environmental audits, surveys, and studies to support our mining and oil and gas operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct environmental audits and surveys to identify potential environmental impacts
  • Design measures to minimize undesirable environmental effects of mining and oil and gas operations
  • Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record systems
  • Prepare notes, sketches, geological maps, and cross sections
  • Assist in hydrogeological field and laboratory studies
  • Direct and monitor the completion and evaluation of wells, well testing, and well surveys
  • Conduct studies of groundwater flow and contamination
  • Conduct research and technical analyses of survey and field data
  • Plan, direct, and participate in analyses of geological, geochemical, and geophysical survey data
  • Develop procedures to clean up contaminated sites
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education in a related field
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Provincial or territorial association certification
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
