Fleet Program Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Program Operations Manager to join our team at Sphere Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business decisions through data analytics and digitization of programs. Your expertise in fleet operations and supply chain management will be instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement program scope and objectives based on business needs and initiatives.
  • Lead the digitization of fleet management and support the design, implementation, and optimization of business processes and systems.
  • Utilize analytical tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive informed decision-making.
  • Review recommendations with interdepartmental management staff to implement vehicle and heavy equipment acquisitions and disposals.
  • Provide work direction and program management oversight to ensure regional fleet safety compliance.
  • Manage legislative requirements related to commercial fleets, including the National Safety Code and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Develop and recommend policies and procedures for efficient fleet vehicle and equipment management.
  • Oversee and direct the development and administration of the assigned program annual budget.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in fleet program development, strategic consulting, and fleet-related IT solutions.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills for effective relationship-building with internal and external partners.
  • Advanced leadership skills to drive change and promote a culture of responsibility and quality.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address critical issues.
  • Advanced financial acumen to manage operational and capital costs.
  • Proficient communicator with the ability to present well and influence others.
  • Ability to understand workplace-based problems and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Capable planner with the ability to organize resources to achieve results.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft 365 Suite.

Authorities:

  • Approve time off requests for direct reports.
  • Approve expenses and issue PO as per our clients' delegation of authority matrix.

Education:

Degree in Business or Finance considered an asset. Certificate in Fleet operations and Supply Chain Management Experience.
