Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adhering to traffic regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate; experience an asset
- Certificates, Licenses, Memberships, and Courses: AZ class license, Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
- Documentation Knowledge: Bill of lading, Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Trip reports
- Type of Trucking and Equipment: Tractor-trailer
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Drug test
- Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Handling heavy loads, Overtime required, Physically demanding, Sitting
- Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
- Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
- Personal Suitability: Flexibility, Organized, Reliability, Team player, Hardworking, Patience
We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic industry.
