Unlock Your Potential as a Client Data Solutions Specialist

At Sun Life, we're seeking a talented Client Data Solutions Specialist to join our team and contribute to the growth and development of our data services. As a key member of our Client Data Solutions team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional data services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their data and system needs
  • Design and implement client-specific data file feed solutions to integrate with Sun Life systems
  • Participate in client implementation teams and work with internal partners to deliver seamless data solutions
  • Develop data file maps using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator Map Editor software
  • Lead data file implementations through the integration development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment
  • Identify gaps between client requests and Sun Life standards, and propose alternative solutions
  • Anticipate potential impacts on plan design, scope, process, timelines, and requirements
  • Resolve issues through negotiation and compromise to meet client needs while maintaining accuracy and cost-effectiveness
  • Engage in continuous improvement of team processes and contribute to strategic initiatives

Requirements:

  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP formulas
  • Good understanding of file formats, including XML, CSV, and TXT
  • Project Management knowledge of integration development lifecycle
  • Client-focused mindset with superior customer service experience
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and high degree of integrity
  • Continuous learner with problem-solving skills and adaptability
  • Detailed, thorough, and focused on quality with high accuracy
  • Team player with high interest in building relationships and working in a cross-functional team environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to communicate with clients in technical and non-technical terms

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingualism with verbal and written communication skills in English and French
  • University degree with at least 3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Understanding of Group Benefits, business processes, and systems (OASIS)
  • Translation mapping experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator Map Editor
