Electrical Superintendent Job Description

EBC Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our Civil team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in electrical processes to ensure the successful execution of various heavy civil projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and establish effective relationships with on-site staff.
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of contract documents, subcontract agreements, and project specifications.
  • Assist the Project Manager in developing project schedules and ensuring timely completion.
  • Plan and review site construction programs, including quality control, safety, and environmental procedures.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and own forces to ensure project progress.
  • Establish and maintain communication with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Provide daily reports to the Project Manager and maintain good relations with all project stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in Mechanical or Electrical construction, with a focus on heavy civil projects.
  • Advanced skills in management, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and administrative procedures.
  • Bilingualism is an asset, but proficiency in English with excellent communication skills is required.
