Job Summary

The Network Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in Porter Airlines Inc.'s operational success, working closely with the System Operations Control Centre and Airports departments, as well as external agencies, to coordinate activities across the entire network.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate operational activities across the Porter network, ensuring seamless execution and effective contingency planning during major irregular operations (IROPs) events.
  • Monitor connection passenger loads and collaborate with the Duty Officer to anticipate potential misconnect situations, ensuring timely interventions.
  • Provide procedural guidance and routine technical support to front-line agents, facilitating smooth system outages and transitions to manual or backup procedures.
  • Process delay reports and participate in the delay code audit and reconciliation process, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage APIS/API reconciliation and communication with the US Department of Homeland Security, CBP, and CBSA, ensuring regulatory compliance and avoiding significant fines.
  • Assist in investigating and resolving DHS violations and API data quality issues, upholding the company's standards.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Company policies and procedures, as well as Transport Canada regulations and those of other domestic and international regulatory agencies.
  • Actively participate in Porter's Safety Management System (SMS), reporting hazards and incidents, and promoting the Company Safety Policy.
