Job Title: Maintenance Worker - Building

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at Slave Lake Inn and Conference Centre LTD. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and repairing of building systems and equipment
  • Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate industrial equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and power tools, to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Assist with snow removal and ice control during winter months
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance on appliances and equipment
  • Work with minimal supervision and take initiative to complete tasks and projects
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities role
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
