Low Poly Game Art Instructor Opportunity at OCAD University

OCAD University invites applications for a Sessional Instructor position in Low Poly Game Art. As an esteemed member of our faculty, you will share your expertise with students through teaching and related responsibilities. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of artists and designers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and delivering course outlines, studio preparation, and lectures
- Critiques, grading, mid-term evaluations, and final evaluations/reviews
- Health and safety responsibility and meeting academic requirements
We seek a highly qualified individual with a terminal degree in art, design, or a relevant discipline. Equivalent professional/practical experience is also considered.
- A terminal degree in art, design, or a relevant discipline
- Experience teaching at the post-secondary level (asset)
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership in promoting a respectful and inclusive work environment
Sessional appointments are fixed-term annual contracts. The compensation package includes a per-course pay scale with a salary level of $6,871.00 (per 0.5 credit course) plus 7% in lieu of benefits and vacation pay, as per the Employment Standards Act.
