Chef de Partie Overview

The Chef de Partie is responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe food environment. As a key member of the culinary team at Sparkling Hill Resort, this role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage kitchen staff, coordinate meal preparation, and maintain inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan menus, ensure food quality, and meet nutritional standards.
  • Supervise food preparation, presentation, and plating to meet Sparkling Hill Resort's high culinary standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain a clean kitchen environment, and adhere to food waste reduction initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, productivity, and staff morale.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
