Job Overview

The position of Insurance Industry Executive - Account Growth Specialist is a key role within our organization, focused on driving business initiatives for high-value client accounts. As the primary contact for assigned strategic Canadian corporate clients, you will manage all operational and strategic aspects to maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require a university degree or equivalent, along with 8+ years of relevant work experience, including 4+ years of B2B account management experience within a service-based environment. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential, as well as your ability to travel as required to support business goals.

Salary and Benefits

This full-time, permanent role offers an annual salary range of $100,000 to $110,000, based on experience. A performance-based bonus tied to company performance and profitability is also available. Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, telemedicine, and various wellness services, become available after 90 days. A Registered Retirement Savings Plan with up to 4% company match is also provided.

Responsibilities

As Insurance Industry Executive - Account Growth Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Serving as the primary contact for assigned strategic Canadian corporate clients, managing all operational and strategic aspects to maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
  • Deepening and expanding relationships with key client stakeholders, applying in-depth knowledge of the client's market, industry, and value alignment with our services.
  • Overseeing complex cases, managing escalation processes, and coordinating all stakeholder communications to address client needs efficiently.
  • Identifying and implementing initiatives for operational efficiencies, improved profitability, and enhanced customer experience.
  • Analyzing client trends and collaborating with Business Development to support initiatives that drive account growth and address key underlying trends.
  • Organizing client visits, managing agendas, and producing reports to ensure alignment on objectives.
  • Supporting the Finance team in collections and statement of account resolutions for escalated cases.
  • Facilitating the implementation of new clients, products, and services, coordinating with internal teams to meet both client and corporate objectives.
  • Tracking client performance indicators and providing timely, relevant reporting on key metrics, supporting informed decision-making for both the client and internal teams.
  • Developing and maintaining strong knowledge of Canadian market-specific factors, including economic, legislative, and policy impacts.
  • Contributing to annual budgeting, forecasting, and revenue growth strategies in collaboration with Business Development.
  • Identifying competitive trends to inform product and service evolution and actively contributing to strategic market development discussions.
