Senior Land Development Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Land Development Project Manager to lead our Community Development team in southern Alberta. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing complex land development projects from inception to completion, working closely with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in project management, site grading, sanitary and storm sewer servicing, water servicing, shallow utility coordination, roadway design, and lot design. You will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior staff members.
Key Responsibilities- Manage land development projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop project scope, schedules, and budgets
- Oversee site grading, sanitary and storm sewer servicing, water servicing, shallow utility coordination, roadway design, and lot design
- Mentor and guide junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control review on own projects and projects of peers
- Contribute to the development of new standards and processes for the design team
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Licensed Professional Engineer with APEGA
- Minimum 5 years of experience in land development project management
- Strong understanding of land development concepts, including site grading, sanitary and storm sewer servicing, water servicing, shallow utility coordination, roadway design, and lot design
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior staff members
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD Civil 3D, BlueBeam Revu
As a valued member of our team, you will receive a competitive salary, ranging from $110,000 to $140,000 per year, depending on experience.
