Salary Range

The estimated salary for this role is between $17.40 - $21.30 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a Produce Specialist at Thrifty Foods, you will be responsible for carrying out the full range of duties in a professional, responsible, accurate and timely fashion. Your primary focus will be on providing superior customer service to meet customer needs and increasing store sales by actively promoting featured products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety, corporate policies, and other programs and initiatives
• Order, receive, prep, and merchandise produce product in accordance with company inventory control procedures
• Provide exceptional customer service to meet customer needs
• Increase store sales by actively promoting featured products
• Perform back shop and retail floor maintenance
• Prep Customer Produce orders
• Process department shrink
• Participate in the training of junior staff

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed as a Produce Specialist, you must have:

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Above average communication skills (oral and written)
• Physical stamina to lift up to 20lbs, stand for long periods of time, and complete physical work including but not limited to bending, lifting, and reaching
