Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Technology team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will work closely with our engineering leadership to develop and execute initiatives and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters in a production environment.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and quickly respond to incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement infrastructure requirements and support ongoing development efforts.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize system performance, ensuring minimal downtime and fast recovery times.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, including backups and failover strategies.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in a DevOps role with hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure, preferably on AWS.
  • 3+ years of experience operating Kubernetes in production, including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
  • 3+ years of experience using Terraform in an AWS environment, including the management of state files and use of best practices.
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation and tooling.
  • Experience setting up and maintaining monitoring and logging systems like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience with Docker and container orchestration in a live environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with additional configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Familiarity with ArgoCD, Helm, Redis, Memcache, and MariaDB.
  • Experience with serverless architectures and AWS Lambda.
  • Knowledge of gaming industry best practices and a passion for gaming.
  • AWS Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent knowledge.
