Role Summary

The Corporate Receptionist plays a vital role in providing exceptional client service and support to our clients and teams. As the primary point of contact, you will be responsible for warmly welcoming and assisting clients, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and greet clients in a kind, courteous, and professional manner, creating a warm and inviting experience.
  • Manage all incoming calls to the corporate branch, transferring them to the appropriate teams.
  • Respond to client inquiries via telephone, email, and in person in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Organize catering and equipment for meetings and special events in the branch.
  • Ensure users of the boardrooms are vacated in a timely manner for other users and follow through to ensure boardrooms are clean and tidy for the next users.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion while dealing with clients and their information.
  • Provide administrative support to the branch team and backup support to specialists.
  • Submit paperwork and provide follow-up to certain tasks as assigned by specialists/advisors.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a receptionist/customer service role, preferably in a Financial Services firm but not required.
  • Post-secondary education degree in business, commerce, economics, or related discipline is an asset.
  • A genuine interest in developing professionally within the Financial Services industry and willingness to complete industry-related courses.
  • Ability to foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients, advisors, branch support staff, IPC Head Office team, and other key stakeholders.
  • Excellent client service skills to anticipate client needs and follow up in a timely manner.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office and Outlook.
  • Ability to work from the office environment.
  • Knowledge of French is an asset.
