Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Alberta Ltd.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute menus that meet customer expectations, estimating food requirements and managing inventory effectively.
  • Cook and prepare complete meals or individual dishes, adhering to high culinary standards and kitchen safety protocols.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, providing guidance on kitchen operations and best practices.
  • Order supplies and equipment, maintaining a well-stocked kitchen and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas, promoting a clean and healthy environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a chef in a restaurant setting.
  • Excellent menu planning and execution skills, with attention to detail and creativity.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, able to train and motivate staff.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and adapting to changing circumstances.
