Executive Chef with Menu Planning Expertise

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Alberta Ltd.
Responsibilities:- Plan and execute menus that meet customer expectations, estimating food requirements and managing inventory effectively.
- Cook and prepare complete meals or individual dishes, adhering to high culinary standards and kitchen safety protocols.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, promoting a safe working environment.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, providing guidance on kitchen operations and best practices.
- Order supplies and equipment, maintaining a well-stocked kitchen and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
- Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas, promoting a clean and healthy environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a chef in a restaurant setting.
- Excellent menu planning and execution skills, with attention to detail and creativity.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, able to train and motivate staff.
- Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and adapting to changing circumstances.
- A competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
