Job Title: Product Specialist

Description

As a Product Specialist at Syneos Health, you will play a critical role in supporting the launch of Idorsia's new product, Quviviq, across Canada in the insomnia market. Your primary responsibility will be to educate and engage with General Practitioners (GPs), Family Medicine (FM) physicians, and specialists, primarily psychiatrists, to promote the benefits of Quviviq in helping patients with insomnia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan to achieve and exceed annual sales goals.
  • Utilize omni-channel tools to personalize and engage with customers, enhancing their experience and confidence in prescribing medications for appropriate patients.
  • Build strong relationships with HCPs, understanding their needs and preferences to create value for their practices.
  • Advocate for insomnia patients and effectively communicate the priorities and solutions needed for the organization to invest in.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to customers and staff regarding access to insomnia therapy, product, and guidelines.
  • Coordinate learning activities within the territory based on HCP needs and ensure timely follow-up to gather feedback.
  • Promote the portfolio within approved labeling in a comprehensive, fair, and ethical manner, consistent with industry-specific and corporate legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Communicate territory activity in an accurate and timely manner as directed by management.
  • Collaborate with sales colleagues, commercial leadership, marketing, and other internal departments to share insights and drive results.
  • Successfully complete all training classes and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Science or Business.
  • Strong understanding of the patient journey and HCP adoption journey.
  • Minimum 2+ years of life science sales experience, with a focus on psych/CNS/sleep disorders.
  • Experience in sales/education discussions with specialists and recent experience with product launches are highly desirable.
  • Strong track record of sales success, digital marketing aptitude, and interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and drive business results.
  • Local and national travel required for this position, with a valid driver's license.
