Restaurant Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at HFX FOODHUB INC. As a key member of our food services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and direct the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet high quality standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
- Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and promoting a healthy work-life balance.
- Accessibility: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Cross-Cultural Training: Offer diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers, refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
