Clinical Social Worker

RhynoCare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team as a Virtual Counsellor. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide virtual clinical social work services to patients and their families, utilizing your expertise in psychosocial assessments, individual and group therapy, case management, and discharge planning.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide virtual short-term tele and video-counselling to individuals dealing with various personal issues to enhance coping skills and improve functioning.
- Work virtually with children, youth, and adults to provide individualized and/or crisis supports.
- Master of Social Work Degree mandatory.
- Current registration in good standing with OCSWSSW without terms, limits, or conditions.
- Valid professional liability insurance.
- Advanced training in areas of clinical assessment and experience in therapies modalities (DBT, CBT, ACT) for children, adolescents, and their families is advantageous.
- Minimum 2 years direct experience working with children and families in the community and in a hospital setting through inpatient units, outpatient units, and emergency rooms.
- Knowledge of the network of community services and resources in the GTA area.
- Broad experience of mental health services including case management and crisis management for children and adolescents.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to function as a team player.
- Practice in a manner consistent with the philosophy of continuous quality improvement.
- Remain abreast of current literature and changing practice patterns.
- Ability to work within a short-term solution-focused model.
- Ability to clinically manage high-risk cases.
- Comfort using video-conference platform.
