Lycopodium Limited, a leading provider of professional engineering and project delivery services globally, seeks an experienced Project Engineer to join our Mississauga team.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a talented individual with 3-5 years of postgraduate experience in a similar position. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance in the planning, designing, evaluating, executing and handover of assigned projects in accordance with company, client and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with project specific requirements and current industry work codes and standards;
  • Contribute to project control activities, including scheduling, forecasting and other deliverables, to a consistently high standard;
  • Assist the Project Manager in developing and maintaining the project quality management facility to ensure project quality targets and reporting are met;
  • Prepare contract scope of works and commercial tender reviews;
  • Carry out assigned project activities, including site engineer duties, prioritizing safety, environment, community and industrial relations;
  • Participate in the Project quality management process, conducting inspections at vendor's premises and reviewing vendor quality documentation;
  • Contribute to the preparation of construction reports, contracts and schedules, managing tender and contract documentation for review in accordance with quality assurance;
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to meet project design criteria and deliverables;
  • Register and file all relevant project documentation in accordance with Company approved procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent;
  • 3-5 years' postgraduate experience in a similar position;
  • Able to work autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues across all business units;
  • Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment;
  • Demonstrate solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.
