Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher and Busperson to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all kitchen areas, culinary equipment, and utensils, ensuring a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize, rinse, spray, and load the dishwasher, washing by hand if necessary
  • Examine completed loads for cleanliness and re-wash if necessary
  • Report any malfunctions, breakage, or discrepancies to the appropriate manager
  • Store all clean items in the appropriate area
  • Sort and remove garbage and recycling
  • Clean all general kitchen areas, including floors, counters, and workspaces
  • Assist with the receipt of goods into the work area and stock shelves
  • Prepare some food products as requested
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with all operational departments
  • Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with all stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 6 months of work experience
  • Ability to exceed internal customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication
Work Environment
  • Regular kitchen environment, standing and walking for long periods of time, non-traditional work hours
