Head Cashier

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Cashier to join our team at A-1 Cash and Carry. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cash handling operations, supervising staff, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and mentor a team of cashiers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
- Cash Handling and Management: Oversee cash handling procedures, manage cash registers, and maintain accurate records.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including ordering merchandise and maintaining stock levels.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
