We are seeking a skilled trade apprentice to join our team at B.C. Ltd.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will assist experienced carpenters in construction projects, performing tasks such as preparing layouts, measuring and cutting materials, and building foundations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist experienced carpenters in construction projects
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
- Fitness and maintain various equipment and machinery
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Demonstrated ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to travel for work assignments
- A competitive salary range estimated between $40,000 - $60,000 per year based on location and experience
