Senior Fund Accountant, Private Markets

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fund Accountant to join our Private Markets team at MUFG Investor Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional financial reporting and administration services to our Private Equity and Private Debt clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and load financial data from clients into our internal accounting systems.
- Assist with setting up and preparing consolidations through the investment structure using various consolidation rules.
- Process payments of fund expenses in our banking system.
- Book journal entries related to cash payments and accruals.
- Prepare and review third-party reconciliations of investments and cash.
- Prepare and review capital call and distribution calculations and notices.
- Prepare and review fee schedules, including calculation of management fees and carried interest.
- Prepare and review investor allocations for each NAV cycle.
- Collaborate with clients, banks, and auditors to ensure smooth delivery of services.
- Demonstrable experience working in the fund administration industry or audit.
- Private Equity or Real Assets experience is preferred.
- Experience working with Investran or Geneva is a value-added asset.
- University degree or professional designation such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, etc. is considered an asset.
