Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director to join our Group Risk Management team. As a key member of our ESG Risk team, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and communicating our approach to integrating ESG risk into our existing risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and evolve our ESG risk management framework, policies, tools, and risk appetite/limits
  • Collaborate with business and global GRM colleagues to coordinate and align our approach to integrating ESG risk
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving regulatory requirements, stakeholder expectations, and current best practices in relation to risk integration and governance for ESG risk
  • Support the preparation of material for internal management reports and presentations for GRM senior management and others related to the integration of ESG risk into enterprise risk management and business practices
Requirements
  • 5+ years of related experience with in-depth knowledge in risk management, compliance, or sustainability
  • MBA, CPA-CA/CMA, CFA, or other finance/accounting/risk management certificate
  • Sound knowledge of internal controls, risk management, and/or compliance methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex topics effectively to external stakeholders and internal executives and reviewers
  • A proactive self-starting mindset who is able to handle pressure effectively, collaborate effectively with individuals and teams across the enterprise, and has experience working with senior management teams
