Lead Architect - Digital Sales

As a Lead Architect for digital sales at If Vahinkovakuutus Oyj, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of digital insurance. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the architectural work in the digital sales domain for private customers, enabling teams to make informed architecture decisions and collaborating closely with business stakeholders, product owners, development teams, and other architects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive architecture work within the tribes and enable teams to make the right decisions.
  • Communicate priorities and capabilities with business stakeholders to help them achieve their objectives.
  • Participate in digital sales-related initiatives, proof-of-concepts, and pre-studies.
  • Continuously learn and build knowledge about solutions and architecture.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of architects in similar roles, working across all digital services and APIs in If. We prioritize sharing knowledge and learning from one another to collectively improve our skills as architects.

About the Team

You will be part of the Reactor tribe, responsible for digital sales to the private market across the Nordics. The tribe covers web shops for each country, quote and buy APIs for partners, and other smaller products.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English.
  • A passion for technology and the latest advancements.
  • Ability to align architectural decisions and recommendations with business needs.
  • Extensive experience as a solution architect in digital channels, e-commerce, or self-service solutions.
  • Experience from working on modern web or mobile apps.
  • Understanding of cloud technology and architecture in complex enterprise environments.
  • Strategic thinking in a constantly evolving environment.

A background in e-commerce or sales within highly regulated industries such as InsureTech, FinTech, or Telecom is a plus. We also value strong Agile experience and high motivation.
