Requirements
  • You must be able to travel to the Waterloo Region and surrounding areas.
  • You will be required to work regular, consistent hours and participate in regular overtime at assigned job sites.
  • A valid driver's license is required for this position.
  • You must be able to communicate effectively and take direction from supervisors and colleagues.
  • Previous experience operating heavy equipment is essential for this role.
  • You will need strong mechanical skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others.
  • Physical strength and endurance are required to perform the principal duties and responsibilities of this position.
  • You must be able to recognize, communicate, and eliminate hazards in the workplace.
Responsibilities
  • You will work on a crew, reading plans and organizing work to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
  • You will work with forming structures and heavy equipment to complete excavating and site grading tasks.
  • You will be expected to demonstrate leadership and autonomy in your work, taking initiative and making decisions as needed.
  • Heavy lifting and repetitive motions are required for this position.
  • You will need knowledge of hand tools and be able to perform other tasks as needed.
  • You will be required to comply with the Company Safety Program at all times.
Schedule
  • You will work Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime and weekend work.
  • You will be required to work 10-14 hours per day, depending on the needs of the job.
Work Location

Our work location is primarily in the Waterloo Region, with some travel to Southern Ontario as required.
