Job SummaryThe Senior Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for providing expert technical assistance to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, as well as providing training and maintaining a problems log. This role involves troubleshooting complex technical issues, researching solutions, and collaborating with other teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Technical Support:
- Respond to user inquiries and provide timely resolutions to technical issues.
- Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions.
- Provide advice and training to users on how to use software applications and hardware devices.
- Maintain a comprehensive problems and solutions log to track and analyze issues.
- Participate in the redesign of applications and software to improve user experience.
- Supervise and mentor junior technical support staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in technical support roles, preferably in a similar industry.
The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on location and qualifications.
