Food Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Store Supervisor to join our team at NY Pizza Den. As a Food Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise Staff: Lead and manage a team of staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their job requirements.
- Hire and Train: Recruit and train new staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and minimize overtime.
- Prepare Reports: Compile and analyze sales data, merchandising reports, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Organize Inventory: Manage and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately recorded and replenished as needed.
- Supervise Activities: Oversee the activities of workers, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Manage Cash: Handle cash transactions, manage cash handling procedures, and maintain accurate records.
- Oversee Payroll: Manage payroll administration, ensuring that staff members are paid accurately and on time.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and coaching to improve job performance.
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
- Language: English.
- Work Environment: Non-smoking, air-conditioned.
- Work Setting: Retail service establishment, urban area.
