Senior Manager, Banking and Capital Markets Advisory

In this esteemed role at KPMG-Canada, you will be a key member of a high-performing team, utilizing your strong business acumen to drive exceptional results. As a Senior Manager in our Banking and Capital Markets Advisory practice, you will have the opportunity to learn from banking industry service specialists and improve your skills through various activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will provide coaching and feedback to your team members, supporting our open feedback culture and improving their skills.
  • You will ensure the delivery of high-quality services to customers on time and on budget, managing assignments effectively.
  • You will lead client engagements, dedicating your knowledge and skills to all client-focused activities and projects.
  • You will participate in client prospecting and the preparation of service offerings, working with senior management and KPMG leaders to implement thought leadership, white papers, and other intellectual assets.
  • You will develop your reputation as a trusted advisor and seasoned specialist, leveraging your solid knowledge of banking services.
  • You will conduct client workshops and staff interviews, adhering to our high-quality standards to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Management/Business Administration, Engineering, Business Information/Technology, Finance, Public Administration, or Data Sciences.
  • At least 8 years of experience in consulting and/or banking services.
  • Experience in planning and tracking projects, comfortable working with executive stakeholders, and possessing superior communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and define problems and develop creative solutions to address client requirements clearly and articulately.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite, particularly in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • The ability to work independently while demonstrating a collaborative and supportive spirit.
  • A sense of responsibility in the execution of their work, motivation to achieve their full potential, and understanding of the importance of human relations (clients, future clients, their communities, and the global firm).
  • Fluency in written and spoken French is essential, with knowledge of English for interpreting standards, guidelines, laws, and regulations in both languages.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a highly competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and professional development. The estimated annual salary for this position, based on industry standards and the location, is around $140,000.
