Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Associate to join our team at Celltrion Healthcare Canada Limited. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary of $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

This role will be responsible for creating an environment where employees can excel and achieve their best work. The successful candidate will have administrative, operational, and strategic responsibilities, with opportunities to engage in all aspects of human resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service to employees and managers as the first point of support and guidance for practices, policies, annual processes, and other people-related inquiries.
  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Oversee end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process, including managing job requisitions, creating/reviewing job profiles and postings, screening/shortlisting candidates, supporting scheduling of interviews, preparing offers of employment, collecting required documentation, and leading the orientation of new employees.
  • HRIS Administration: Be the expert of our human resources data and information system (HRIS), updating employee data, reporting, testing, and launching new HRIS modules, liaising with software vendor/HQ GHR team, and providing training and guidance to staff.
  • People & Culture: Support the development and evaluation of our people strategies by conducting market research, collecting and reporting on qualitative and quantitative benchmarks, and providing insightful analyses and recommendations to enhance the organizational culture of engagement, inclusion, and employee satisfaction.
  • IT Asset Management: Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of equipment, purchasing new equipment as required, deploying, and retrieving of all IT assets.
  • General office administration: Ensure the office operates efficiently and team members have necessary supplies, services, desks, computers, etc. Support periodic social event coordination to foster team cohesion.
What You Bring
  • 1-3 years' experience working in an HR or Administrative roles.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Management preferred; CHRP designation would be an asset.
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant employment legislation and experience translating legislation into values-aligned policies and practices.
  • Technologically savvy; adept at Microsoft Office (must know how to use MS Excel), creating impactful presentations, and experience navigating a human resources information system.
  • Excellent communication skills. You are able to coach and influence with empathy, diplomacy, and professionalism. A demonstrate a mature and sensitive approach to handling confidential information and discussions.
  • An exacting attention to detail, accuracy, and meeting timelines.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
