Hotel Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at Badlands Motel. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our facilities are well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Co-ordination and Scheduling: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Work Schedules and Procedures: Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Guest Services: Assist guests with special needs, ensuring that their stay with us is comfortable and enjoyable.
- Staff Management: Co-ordinate, assign, and review work for staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, arranging for repairs as necessary to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
- Supply Chain Management: Requisition materials and supplies as needed to maintain optimal operations.
- Leadership Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Team Management: Experience managing a team of 1-2 people, with the ability to expand to 3-4 people.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with regular periods of standing, walking, and lifting.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
- Work Schedule: Availability to work a 30-40 hour per week schedule, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
