The RBC Dominion Securities branch in Coquitlam is seeking a licensed and experienced Senior Associate to provide high-quality support to our dynamic Advisory Team. As a Senior Associate, you will play a vital role in deepening relationships with existing clients and delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prepare meetings for Advisors with clients and prospects.
  • Provide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to detail.
  • Liaise with various departments for execution, as needed.
  • Assist the Advisor team with client onboarding.
  • Manage incoming communications from clients, Advisors, and other internal and external partners.
  • Maintain existing client accounts and identify opportunities to contact clients, manage timelines, and key dates for accounts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates of all necessary documentation in compliance with internal controls and industry regulatory requirements.
  • Support the Advisor team and clients through the Wealth Management process and maintain an audit of Wealth Management Activities and priorities.

Requirements

  • University or college degree.
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH), and Investment Representative (IR) certifications.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • High level of time management and organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with initiative.
  • Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that is professional, warm, and friendly.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
